Chorus Angelorum is a premier a cappella vocal ensemble of male and female voices, formed in 2001 for the purpose of offering fine quality performances of vocal music to the Tampa Bay area.

While we began as an ensemble dedicated to the study and performance  of Renaissance music, we have expanded our scope of music to include  pieces from the Middle Ages to contemporary and popular styles. We perform works by composers from Thomas Morley and Giovanni Gabrielli to Bach, Bruckner and Mendelssohn, Eric Whitacre, Elanor Daley. We also include the works of Paul McCartney, Peter Townsend, and Paul Simon. Our concerts are an entertaining, enjoyable and eclectic mix of musical styles.

Since 2005 we have performed regularly at venues throughout the Tampa Bay area. Some of those include: The Carrollwood Cultural Center in Tampa, First Night St. Petersburg, Catherine Hickman Theater in Gulfport, several area churches, as well as Eckerd College. In addition, the group has participated in a number of events for WMNF 88.5 FM Community Radio including recording “Power to the People” with the Southeast Music Alliance and performing at both The Who and Beatles tribute shows for WMNF.
